Description
These USB to DIO circuit boards are ideal for PC based control and automation of equipment including sensors, switches, relays, robotics, and industrial automation systems. They come in an OEM packag and are controlled with an easy to use DLL interface.
The DIO series is ROHS compliant.
The inputs are bi-directional. Each 4 bit nibble has a common. Placing 3 – 50Vdc on the common sets up those 4 inputs to sense 0Vdc. Placing 0Vdc on the common sets up those 4 inputs to sense 3 – 50Vdc. The inputs will also work with low voltage AC signals. All input bits are optically isolated and have an LED indicator.
Each output is capable of controlling real world devices. The N and P series are capable of driving 5-48VDC devices up to 2 Amps. The S series is capable of driving 3 to 50 Vdc/Vac devices up to 500 mAmps. Each output has an LED indicator.
The DIO series board uses screw clamp terminal blocks. The DIO boards are bus powered and will draw a maximum of 125 ma from the USB bus.
Each board comes with a 6 foot USB2.0 cable. Software examples and the manual can be found on the support page.
