We at BCS Ideas have over 20 years experience in test, automation and data acquisition. We felt that there was a need for digital I/O that was buffered for real world applications. With most existing boards a separate interface board had to be designed to allow the digital I/O to work in an application. This could double the cost for the buffered I/O. We also felt it needed to be inexpensive, easy to use and reliable. We then decided to design the RP2005 line of USB data acquisition products. The driver for the USB to DIO boards is an easy to use DLL.

We recently redesigned both series of DIO boards. Each board with the same number of ports will share the same footprint. All inputs are the same. They are capable of sensing voltages in the range of 3 - 60 Vdc. The part number for the N channel MOSFET series has been changed to RP0000xxxxN. The part number for the solid state relay series has changed to RP0000xxxxS. Both series board utilizes an led for each input and output to indicate the state of each bit.
